The Wheel of Awareness practice — a pathway to integration and well-being:

I offer the Wheel of Awareness practice for community and corporate settings. I also offer custom groups, if 4-6 people are interested.

In my study and practice of Interpersonal Neurobiology with Dr. Daniel Siegel and the Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB) community,  I have been practicing the Wheel of Awareness, which is a guided mindful awareness practice. The practice strengthens your mind by integrating your consciousness and empowering you to live a full and vital life. The process of integration became my guide to reclaiming strength and wisdom that has always been there. The Wheel of Awareness cultivates my ability to be grounded, focused, and present to the moment.

“Esther’s Wheel of Awareness teachings synthesize, merge and make accessible thousands of years of wisdom discoveries with the latest neuroscience. Her crystal clear presentations offer a deeply powerful reality map which elegantly fosters resilience, well-being, and even transformation. “

From my teacher, Dr. Dan Siegel: “The Wheel of Awareness” — The hub represents the experience of awareness itself — knowing — while the rim contains all the points of anything we can become aware of, that which is known to us. We can send a spoke out to the rim to focus our attention on one point or another on the rim. In this way, the wheel of awareness becomes a visual metaphor for the integration of consciousness as we differentiate rim-elements and hub-awareness from each other and link them with our focus of attention.

The four segments of the rim:

  1. First Segment: Our five senses – sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch.

  2. Second Segment: The internal sensations of our body, like the beating of our heart, the feeling of hunger, or tension in our muscles.

  3. Third Segment: Mental activities, encompassing feelings, thoughts, memories, longings, dreams, beliefs, values, and images.

  4. Fourth Segment: Our sense of connection to other people and the world around us.
